# Vauren

> Live sales, booth fees and commission for market, fair and festival organizers in Canada. Vendors connect their card machine (Square, Clover coming) or report totals; you get one reconciled report.

Vauren is a Canadian web app for organizers of farmers markets, night markets, craft fairs and festivals.

## What it does
- Live sales for every vendor at an event, on one screen.
- Vendors connect their card machine with read-only access (Square today; Clover in progress), or self-report totals with a photo of their receipt, or sell through a token booth.
- Booth fees: vendors see what they owe and pay the organizer directly by Interac e-Transfer with a reference code; the organizer marks fees paid and sends reminders.
- Commission: calculated on each vendor's net sales (tips excluded, refunds subtracted), with per-vendor overrides.
- Reports: one reconciled event report (PDF, CSV) plus a statement for every vendor.

## What it does not do
- Vauren never holds or moves money. Booth fees go straight to the organizer; card machine access is read-only and Vauren never sees card numbers.

## Who it is for
Organizers of markets, fairs and festivals in Canada, and the vendors who sell at them.
